MSU-Wipro UrbanSTEM Leadership & Fellowship Program is a teacher development program with the purpose to develop the capacity of classroom teachers to design transformative and innovative, multimodal, instructional experiences and active learning communities of practice. We hope this will enhance the quality of instruction in the STEM disciplines by increasing their TPACK, teacher efficacy, leadership skills, and overall creativity. This will provide teachers the necessary support to have significant roles of leadership in facilitating innovative STEM instruction, especially in urban education settings. I specifically focus on measurements and evaluation. I have worked closely with IRB, and have researched instruments that measure teacher efficacy, educational leadership, and teacher’s technological pedagogical content knowledge. I a have also focused on the qualitative analysis of the teacher’s UrbanSTEM projects. Set up webinars and lead in writing projects. This project is specifically lead by, Dr. Sonya Gunnings-Moton, Dr. Punya Mishra (PI), & Dr. Leigh Graves-Wolf.
